2009 Wigmore Hall / Kohn Foundation International Song Competition
A “WORLD FIRST” ON THE WEB
This week, young, gifted singers and accompanists have been performing for a panel of top judges at one of the most prestigious classical music venues in the world: a place where every singer of the past century has stepped out before a passionate and discerning audience.
The 2009 Wigmore Hall / Kohn Foundation International Song Competition seeks out the great singers of tomorrow. The competition promotes the interchange of ideas between artists, the expansion of repertoire, and offers a unique platform for performance.
And right now, for the first time in over 100 years of concerts at Wigmore Hall, you can watch the action as it unfolds – live – online.
