Digital Mission! Videojuicer scores a trip to LA and SF
This week we wave a short but significant farewell to Steve Jelley as he jets off on a week-long UK Trade and Investment mission to Silicon Valley. This is a coup for us: Videojuicer was one of a handful of companies selected by industry specialists for the Digital Mission, which runs from 11 – 16 October. Promoted and tended by the digital industry community Chinwag, the mission visits LA and San Francisco, meeting industry contacts, gatecrashing networking events, and strutting their stuff before the likes of Warner Bros, Sony Home Entertainment and Facebook.
Steve and his new friends (and some old friends – Mark Rock of Audioboo is going along) will also attend some ‘digital receptions’ at British Consulates. ‘Digital Mission companies are encouraged to participate in the local digital scene,’ says Chinwag’s website, lest we missed the point.
